JAS 39's Photo Album

JAS 39\'s Photo Album is a slide show application for Android. It retrieves photos about the jet fighter, Saab JAS 39 Gripen, from Flickr and then shows the photos on screen.\n

In order to use this application, the internet connection has to be turned on. It supports the features as follows :

\n1. It uses your internet connection to retrieve the photos from Flickr, it will show a warning message if the internet connection is not available.

\n

2. It does not require a user account to login.

\n

3. It supports the action bar. The followings are its option actions :
\n. Properties. It is tapped to show the properties of the photo that is shown now.
\n. Home. It is tapped to go to the first photo.
\n. End. It is tapped to go to the last photo.
\n. Goto. It is tapped to go to the specified photo. User has to enter the page index.
\n. Play. Start the slide show. When all the retrieved photos have been shown, it will retrieve another set of photos.
\n. Pause. Stop the slide show. It allows users to navigate the photos by press the Left(<) and Right(>) button on screen.
\n. SetAsWallpaper. Tapped to set the current photo as the wallpaper of home screem.
\n. WikiPage. Tapped to access the wiki page of Saab JAS 39 Gripen. It is an introduction to Saab JAS 39 Gripen in Wikipedia.
\n. Reference page. Tapped to access the flickr web page for the current page.
\n. Settings. Tapped to access the settings page for the app.

\n3. The time interval between two consecutive photos is configurable.

\n

4. User can specify the order of photos to show. There are two orders : sequential order and random order.

\n

5. It supports rotation and scaling. All are configurable.

\n

6. Supports the following transition effects :
\n. Shuffle
\n. Fade-in, fade-out
\n. Horizontal transition
\n. Vertical transition
\n. Diagonal transition
\n. Slide transition
\n. Scale transition
\n. Strip transition
\n
\nIt is configurable by user.

7. It will keep the screen always on when it is on the slide show view.

\n

8. When the photo is set as the wallpaper on the home screen, a message will be shown. It can be disabled by user.

9. It retrieves the photos in a separate task, so there will be no negative impact on user\'s operations.

\nThis application does not gather any information about the user. No personal identifiable information is collected or stored.
