They provide people; students, faculty, staff and citizens, a means for reporting events by a simple “press” of a button. These alerts are sent via cellular, WiFi or SMS depending on the connection available to the workstations.
These events carry all the needed information for the authorities to respond:
• Who is reporting the incident - all users are registered.
• Location where the incident is being reported (GPS Coordinates) - automatic.
• Images (Pictures, Video), Audio and Text - based on user preference.
