An University that consists of several departments, also known as Schools. In University Utara Malaysia (UUM) there got their core departments, which are College of Arts and Science (CAS), College of Business (COB), and College of Laws, Government, and International Studies (COLGIS). In each department there has several numbers of schools with belongs to the department. For examples, in CAS there consists of School of Educations, School of Social Science, School of Computing and etc. In every of schools also consist of a numbers of the class room or even computer and examination halls.
Besides, University Utara Malaysia can consider as a hue University Environment area compared to the other local university. In the UUM, there is not only having building of schools that represented. There also have some facilities department and restaurant or food court. For the example for facility such as the biggest hall in UUM which is Dewan Muadzam Shah, Sultanah Bahiyah Library and others. For the example of Food court such as Yasmeen, Alumni Junction, Unicafe and others.
Of course, in the orientation weeks, the person in-charge will bring them to walk around the all department and schools as wells. Therefore I’m proposed that a Mobile Application named “InFoUUM” that target users which is the whole university students. Basically this mobile Application InFoUUM can check all the class room, computer lab, examination hall in every of the department and Schools by selecting the department or school from the listing, and provided the search function to lets user to searching the food court, facilities and accommodation within UUM.
