INEC ELECTION OBSERVERS EYE-WITNESS REPORTING APP

This is an easy-to-use, all-in-one news reporting app tailored mainly for election reporting and monitoring. It allows users and observers to send field reports surrounding activities pertaining to ongoing elections (verification, voting, collation, post election and so on) in the polling units using a combination of text, camera snapshots and instantly recorded audio voice notes in one piece. The report is sent and collated at a central server online (Election monitoring portal), where every report can be processed, analysed and responded to and actions taking immediately to militate, forestall or help prosecute any election irregularity or violence. All data is sent to the central server over the mobile devices internet connection.
The application was designed to accommodate and process fairly large bytes of data at a time, taking into consideration areas with high internet connection speeds and low speeds. As a result reports mainly comprise of stringed text, images (50MB max per sending) and audio.

More so the ability to send image files of over 50MB from your device to the central server, something emails find it difficult to do with the maximum file size for email attachment being 25MB.
