Hour Band, an Austin, TX original, formed and has been rocking together in Austin since 2006. Often compared to an arena rock sound, the music is characterized by intense guitar tones, driving bass and drums, and hip-hop/melodic sound on vocals. For the band, the number one focus is energy - energy in recordings, energy on stage, and energy pursuing their passion to rock. Hour Band made festival appearances at 2015 Edgefest in Frisco TX, SXSW for almost ten years running, and Solstice Austin. The band has organized and played tours throughout the US and Texas and shared the stage with the likes of Offspring, Snoop Dogg, Eve 6, and more.
Hour Band takes a radical approach to releasing music. After developing their sound in Spoon's Austin studio, the band transferred all of there four previously recorded original EP/Albums to availability for free under the name the Infinity Series.
