Hotspot Notifier is designed to search nearby Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy devices.
When one of the devices you selected is in range, this app will notify you so you can start an Hotspot.
NOTE FOR VoLTE - ENABLED PHONES
Using this app to provide an Hotspot to a VoLTE-enabled phone can strongly improve its battery life, since the connection to the carrier's base station will be handled by the device who creates the hotspot (like a tablet for example), so the phone has to amplify a signal much closer and clearer, saving around 20% of battery life on a full charge(can be more or can be less, depending on the coverage and the signal quality in your area).
NOTE FOR LTE TABLET USERS AND 3G PHONE USERS
Using this app, you can enjoy the speed of the LTE network on your 3G phone, since the top speed of LTE is lower than the speed of the WiFi N (IEEE 802.11n) hotspot created from the tablet.
