Hike Liker, the Android hiking app for hikers, walkers, runners, people who move through space with their feet on the ground.
With Hike Liker you can record and save your hikes, access hike metrics, stats and data like Distance, Duration, Step Count, Beginning Altitude, Ending Altitude, Cumulative Ascent and Cumulative Descent. Hike Liker also lets you share your recorded hikes with friends, family, acquaintances and even people you’ve never met before via text, email or the social platform of your choice.

Hike Liker also gives you two real-time altitude readings that utilize your phone’s barometric pressure sensor and your phone’s GPS location sensor. Why two you ask? Well, the short answer is that your exact altitude here on planet earth can be a tricky thing to measure, so Hike Liker gives you two, which is better than one.
METRIC or U.S. STANDARD?
Hike Liker will display your hike stats in the unit of your choice. Use the preference settings to choose how your stats are displayed, either the internationally popular Metric system, or if you prefer the U.S. Standard system, you can have that too. If you want both, Hike Liker gives you both. It's up to you.
MULTI-DAY MINIMUM-BATTERY-LOAD BACKCOUNTRY HIKES
One final Hike Liker feature that will appeal to hikers who hike off the grid for days at a time and for whom phone battery charge conservation is an issue is this: even when you turn off your phone’s GPS location sensor, Hike Liker can still record your hike by using your phone’s pedometer sensor for distance measurements, and your phone’s barometric pressure sensor for altitude. At the end of your hike your stats won’t include GPS waypoints, but the basic measurements of Distance, Duration and Altitudes will be available for the archive.
