Hamburg Police Crime Watch

See the latest crimes as they unfold by loading the data directly from the Police press releases and search your Hamburg neighbourhood.
The app is also useful to identify potential danger zones if you are new in Hamburg and are looking for a safe neighbourhood.

It includes the latest Hamburg "Danger Zone" (Gefahrengebiet) and Hamburg "Danger Isles" (Gefahreninsel) so that you will always know if you are walking inside those zones.

Features:
✔ View a map or as a list representation.
✔ Sort the entries by date, months, year or view all of them (data since 2013)
✔ Search the list database by a random text, street name

Permissions:
- Internet - to load the data and to display the map
- Your Location - network and GPS used by the map
- Write External Storage, Network and Wifi State - used by the new Google Maps API v2. External Storage is used to store cache images of the map so that you don't need Internet next time you load the app

Please note:
The app is localised in english and german - however the data is only in german language, but you can use copy&paste and google translate to translate the info.

We are not affiliated with the Hamburg Police office - we use publicly available crime data presented to the public.

The app uses the Clusterkraf AChartEngine and PinnedList Libraries under the Apache 2.0 License.
