Over the years, there has been great reliance on government to create and employ young graduates from regions in the country from all areas of studies. One thing most people forget is that the system is already chocked and without the emergence of new business or projects there will be no room for employment to absorb the upcoming graduates.
Favoritism and Nepotism has taken over most of the government sectors and other bigger organizations that most young people aim or dream or working for. Positions are occupied before they become vacant so there is virtually little or no hope of absorbing the young graduates by the government. Our economy continues to train corrupt young people to replace the outgoing employees, hence, why corruption is had to fight. If young people are well trained and engaged in genuine businesses and given the chance to put the ideas on paper, they will be result driven and not be out there looking for easy way out or easy money to spend.
One major problem of entrepreneurship in Ghana is capital requirement to start business or to venture into certain lucrative business. Sitting back, most young people or graduates feel they can do better than those employed by the government based on the reports or results they produce. Great ideas have gone dead due to lack of capital or proper funding and support to turn the ideas into reality. We greatly appreciate the effort of some organizations have taken steps to support young people to reduce the unemployment gap in the country.
Green entrepreneurs represent a group of strong and energetic young people working together to create businesses, job opportunities and employing themselves. We’re stronger as a community working together to raise capital, setup our own businesses based on the brilliant ideas of our members and employ qualified members to manage projects or business. All members benefit equally under our system because we share profit equally from all activities we undertake.
WE ARE GREEN - We’re responsible - independent - and YES we can make a difference - Create Jobs and Employ ourselves. Together we are stronger and powerful. WE ARE ALL INVOLVED IN BUILDING OUR MOTHERLAND!!!
