Sin da giovanissimo si avvicina allo strumento come autodidatta per poi entrare a far parte della banda del paese. Da qui inizia un percorso musicale che spazia dalla musica originale per banda sino alla musica classica , percorso che lo arricchisce di esperienze importanti per il proseguo degli studi. Dal 94 inizia gli studi jazz sotto la guida del trombettista genovese G. Casati. Nello stesso anno inizia a suonare in diverse formazioni crescendo musicalmente ed acquisendo diversi stili come il Funk ,il Soul , il Blues , tutte esperienze che gli hanno permesso di incorporare conseguentemente tutte quelle influenze che arrivano dalla cultura afro-americana e di creare uno stile personale facilmente identificabile. Nel 98 e nel 99 partecipa a seminari sulla musica jazz tenuti dal sassofonista americano Paul Jeffrey. L’anno dopo inizia a suonare nei jazz club per poi avvicinarsi anche alle rassegne jazz, esibendosi con formazioni che vanno dal duo , al quintetto per arrivare sino alle big band. Diverse sono oggi le collaborazioni con vari jazzisti e con cantautori.

From here begins a musical journey that ranges from music for band until the classical music path that enriches important experiences for the rest of the studies.
