When copying files, Android does not retain the original creation date. This usually doesn't matter except for photos and videos as it completely messes up the gallery.
Fortunately, it is usually possible to recover the creation date and thus restore the display order of the gallery. That's what this app does automatically.

Android 5 (Lollipop) to Android 7 (Nougat)
The app can repair gallery for all types of images and videos.
Here it is possible to save the date in the EXIF data for certain file formats. Indeed, if Android generally knows how to read this data, on the other hand, it can only write it for JPG, PNG, DNG and WebP files. This option must be enabled in the menu as it increases processing time.
