AlerTap is designed for personal safety and well-being with well thought out features like GPS Location Tracking, Reminders, SOS button and Emergency notification. AlerTap encourages to share your
location for safety where you can assign other members to follow you (location wise). This way, there is always someone who is able to locate you and in a position to help if necessary.
The app is supported by a full fledged VEESAG cloud application, where the data is securely housed.
The key features of this mobile app are:
GPS Location Tracking: AlerTap uses the phone GPS for location tracking. The GPS interval is configurable and data is sent to the VEESAG cloud at that interval. AlerTap user can Stop/Start or defer the GPS Tracking for a certain time at will. The Location is shown on google maps within the app.
REMINDER: User can setup Reminders for Medicine, Tasks, Doctor's appointment and so on. There is a distinct reminder alarm at the setup time. Once user acknowledges, the Reminder Acknowledgement is sent to the VEESAG cloud application.
SOS: In case of an emergency, user can press the SOS button in alerTap which triggers SMS and emails to the configured Contacts. In case, the user decides against it, the SOS can be cancelled within 30 secs. Setup your SOS numbers and Emergency Contacts in the settings.
SAFE COMMUNITY: User can assign a list of people who can view his current location. This is based on a process of approval and authorization. The approval can be removed by the user at any point of time using the app options.
AUTO START: alerTap starts on boot and tracks location based on the preferences.
INSTANT NOTIFICATIONS: Push messaging is integrated into the app. So the app can receive instant messages for the cloud application too.
SECURE ACCESS: Create your own unique User/Password access. Each user is assigned a Customer Id on the cloud application. The credentials are valid on the mobile app as well as the VEESAG cloud applications.
