Flexible Interval Timer is a workout timer for interval cardio sessions. All existing free interval timers allow performing only simple workouts, where all rest and work times are equal, or use a complicated interface which makes creation of advanced routines extremely painful. Flexible Interval Timer gives the control over workouts back to you.

IMPORTANT: to work with this app you need to create and upload a text file on your phone (see the bottom of the description).

In addition to complete flexibility in workout planning, the following features are present:
★ play, pause, reset, skip
★ displaying of the current and the next activity
★ speaking activity names aloud (you need to setup a TTS engine in your phone's options)
★ interval end sound
★ routine end sound
★ calculation of total routine time
★ quick access to previously opened routines.

This interval timer is perfectly suitable for any type of interval cardio/strength fitness training: Crossfit, HIIT, tabata, running, etc.
If you train using some commercial program: P90X, Insanity, Ruthless, Rushfit or similar, know all exercises by heart, as well as trainer's jokes, turn off that video, create a file with the routine and feel the freedom of training with Flexible Interval Timer.
Furthermore, you can even use this timer for yoga and stretching.

To use Flexible Interval Timer you need to create a text (.txt) file and upload it on your phone using a cloud storage, Bluetooth, USB cable or any other method that is convenient to you.
The file format is very simple: on each line you simply write an activity name followed by duration in seconds. Example:
jog 30
rest 10
squats 60
Point the app to the file, and the rest will be taken care off.
Alternatively, you can create a routine file directly on your phone using any simple text editor app.
