We all have tons of apps installed on our phones. Have you ever wondered where the app is? Flipping through pages after pages of screen, and examining each icons on screen or inside each group of apps? Don't you wish there was a quick way to locate any app when you need it? And how about uninstalling an app? How may steps do you have to go through just to uninstall a certain app? If you want a tool to make your life easier in those situations, FindMyApp is the answer.

FindMyApp is a simple yet useful tool to help you quickly locate the apps that have already been installed on your phone or tablet. It performs pretty much like the start button in Windows 7. You can search by typing the keyword, or search by simply speaking. The app supports ambiguous matching so you can just type in or say any part of the app name. Or, you can simply look for the app in alphabetical order.

Once you locate the app, you can either click to launch it, or long-press to get to the info page where you can choose to stop the app, uninstall the app, or other actions.

What's more, the apps you touch will be shown in the "Recent Apps" section on top, so that you can find them easily later. There is an intelligent algorithm built-in to predict if you still need the app on the "Recent Apps" list. If not then the app will be removed from the list automatically. And of course, you can choose to remove the app from the list and limit the size of the list.

Please provide any feedback or report any bug to [email protected]. I really appreciate it.

A little disclaimer: originally I only wanted to enhance the sample code from Android for my need, but I ended up having to rewrite everything from scratch in order to get what I want. I might still have some simple pieces of code from the Android sample code which is under Apache license.
