Foreword

The Nippon Foundation is a Japanese organization that conducts activities
to create a better world; we build schools all over Cambodia and support
your teachers.

We made the radio programmers and this textbook to show you how much
fun it is to learn a language.

And by learning English, you will become able to communicate with people
around the world, and to tell them about the wonderful country of Cambodia.

We wish you, the leaders of the future, the very best of success in your
studies, and hope that the radio programmers and this textbook will help you
learn the useful and exciting English language.

Acknowledgements

The textbook is produced for the ‘Teaching English by Radio’ project carried
out by the Education Support Center "KIZUNA” with funding from The Nippon
Foundation of Japan in cooperation with the Ministry of Education Youth and
Sport. The main feature of the project is a series of radio programmers, which are
broadcast nationwide. The aim is to improve the level of English skills of
students in Cambodia. We hope that this textbook helps you study English, and
