Edgewood Veterinary Hospital has been in business since 1977. It originally stood on State Route 20 not far from the Ashtabula Mall. In 2001 Dr Roberts began building the modern facility that exists at 3044 State Rd.
The modern 4000 sq ft facility includes features such as: a partitioned waiting room separated for dogs and cats, 3 brand new exam rooms which include state of the art technology, and open, spacious, and clean boarding, recovery, and isolation areas.
We also have a large treatment area with two workstations, an in-house lab for running blood work, urinalysis, CBC, and electrolytes. We also perform stool exams, ear cytology and microscopic exam of urine.
For pets needing radiographs we have a separate radiology room where we can take and process your pets' x-rays quickly for the doctor to view. We have proudly added a new Digital X-Ray machine in January 2012. This will allow for the doctors to view radiographs instantly. It also gives the doctors instant access to e-mail radiographs to a Veterinary Radiologist or referral practice if necessary.
