Edge Slider gives you an invisible edge slider along the left edge of the screen that gives you direct control for the media volume and/or the screen brightness at all times, no matter which app is in the foreground. This is done in a non-intrusive way on a thin invisible area along the left edge of the screen. (The right edge is not an option, since some apps use it for the scrollbar).
To start it, just open the app, adjust the options as needed and enable Edge Slider through the main switch. (The first time you will need to grant some permissions depending on your device.) Once the main switch is on, you may close then the app. (Edge Slider will continue to run as a service in the background). There will be an icon in the status bar indicating that the service is active.
Great also for devices with broken hardware volume buttons!

3. Run at startup: This is needed to automatically re-activate the service if it was active prior to restarting the device.
Note: In some cases and depending on your device, the service might be terminated by the system and the icon in the status bar will disappear. In this case, we recommend to manually disable the battery optimization for the app (via system settings or app info).
