El contagio es con contacto con animales como murciélagos, antílopes, primates y roedores de los países que han tenido contacto con humanos. La forma de contagio es también a partir del contacto directo con las secreciones de personas infectadas: saliva, lágrimas, sangre, semen, orina y heces.
El ébola produce: fiebre alta, dolor de cabeza, dolor de garganta, erupciones en la piel, dolores musculares, hemorragias internas y externas y alteraciones de la función renal y hepática.
Incubación: entre 2 y 21 días.
