We used as an herbal treatment for headaches. Did you know that? I didn’t until I brought some home to make the crown! I thought it would be cool to add some sprigs of mint so that it would smell
extra good when I wore it.
Materials
one bunch of feverfew or similar small flowers
a few sprigs of fresh mint
floral wire
floral tape
scissors
Make Time: 30 Minutes
- Start by creating a crown of floral wire large enough to fit your head. I wrapped mine around twice and twisted the ends around itself to secure.
- Make a bunch of mini-bouquets. Snip off a few feverfew flowers and wrap them tightly with the floral tape. Make about 15 of these; half with a sprig of mint included, and half without. (Too much greenery will overwhelm the crown.)
- One by one, tape the bouquets to the wire. Wrap floral tape tightly around the bouquet and the wire, securing them together. Work your way around the crown in this fashion until all of the wire is covered. You may need a few extra bouquets if you like a fuller look.
- Ensure that all of the flowers are secure and put on your crown! I loved running around in the sunshine wearing this thing. They’d be particularly adorable on a bunch of little flower girls at a summer wedding. Would you wear one?
