Planet Earth - the only home we‘ve ever known, as the great Carl Sagan would say - is facing serious threats from a myriad of increasingly harmful human practices. As such, every earthbound life form can be considered endangered, even humans. Sustainable practices and maintaining environmentally conscious habits should therefore be a goal pursued by each and every one of us.

But it’s not all doom-and-gloom. Many startups are developing solutions for making human life and associated activities less detrimental to the Earth and environment.
