dKin Immersion is an interactive magazine designed to inspire Deakin graduates; our Alumni; to learn, solve and innovate through the outstanding stories and the people behind them profiled in this app.



Our second edition of dKin magazine introduces you to some of the ways teaching is changing at Deakin to produce graduates who are ready to hit the ground running, ready with the skills required for the jobs of today and jobs of the future. Many of these skills are the soft skills that are often hard to prove. The ability to engage in teamwork, strong communication skills and a general worldliness that employers are demanding, now more than ever. 



We’re proud of you, our alumni, and we look forward to welcoming our current students as future alumni. As you wander through this edition of the magazine we invite you to consider undertaking a post graduate degree with us, employing a Deakin graduate, or getting involved in advisory capacities to help us prepare job-ready graduates.
