We all have many old and unused items lying around in our homes or garages waiting to be thrown away. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but there’s a great feeling of liberation that comes after shedding old stuff.

However, before you start cleaning your home, we want to show you 20 incredibly creative Do It Yourself projects that may change your mind. You’ll learn that a lot of useless items can be transformed into wonderful creations.
You can turn an old glove into a cute chipmunk toy, toilet paper rolls into a beautiful floral wall art, plastic bottle into a broom and many more.

Organizing is great. I mean, without it you have those episodes of never being able to find what you need or not knowing where to put things when you buy them. While there are tons of products that you can buy that are designed to help you to get your home organized, we like the DIY of doing things so we have a few ideas for organization tips that you can do yourself, from things around your home.

For instance, have you ever thought of using an old tension curtain rod for a cabinet divider? How about keeping your pot and pan lids neatly organized with a magazine rack? There are ideas for attaching undershelves in cabinets so that you can make good use of all of your cabinet space. Let’s face it, there are never enough cabinets in the house.

Why do we do crafts and put together DIY projects? Well, for the love of course, but in some cases for money. Not the love of money, that’s bad, but because getting paid to do what you love is considered a very successful life. So, with that in mind I present 42 craft project ideas that range from dang simple to kinda hard, especially if you can’t sew. There is something for every type of crafter and I believe every one of these ideas can sell at any craft show or even on Etsy. 21. Wood-Burning Camp Stove
All you need is a large tin can, a few metal tent pegs/stakes, and a drill to make this camp stove.

22. “Fairy” Garden
Great for small spaces or as a project with your kids: grab an old bucket, drawer, or bowl, add some earth and small plants. Then tuck in some miniatures, and you have a tiny, perfect garden.

23. String Lanterns
It’s amazing how easy it is to make these elegant string-globe lanterns! All you need is twine, corn starch, glue, balloons, and spray paint. Easy peasy.

24. Suitcase Dog Bed
A vintage suitcase transforms into a dog bed with a little TLC and some fluffy pillows.

25. Jar Garden Mini Terrarium
Fill empty jars with pebbles, soil, moss, and small plants for mini gardens you can place around your home. Feel free to add in some miniatures for extra impact!

26. Wallpaper Dresser
Furniture gets an updated look with a fresh coat of paint and some strips of wallpaper in complementary hues.

27. Clothes Hanger Jewellery Storage
Add a few eyelet screws to a wooden coat hanger and voila: instant jewellery organization.

28. Bath Salts
Epsom salts or coarse sea salt is mixed with your favourite essential oils and a few drops of food colouring to make luxurious bath treats.
