El griego ocupa un lugar importante dentro de la Historia de Europa, la llamada civilización occidental y la cristiandad.

La mayor parte de La Biblia se escribió en dos lenguas: hebreo y griego. Sus escritores utilizaron esos idiomas guiados por el espíritu santo de Dios (2 Samuel 23:2). Por eso, se puede decir que es “inspirada de Dios” (2 Timoteo 3:16, 17).
