This app is your comprehensive and portable guide to Dapitan City, the Shrine City of the Philippines. Dapitan is where national hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal was exiled. He arrived in 1892 and stayed until 1896, a period described by historians as among his most productive years. The Rizal Shrine in the city recreates the national hero’s workplace and settlement, where he taught students, wrote poems, and attended to patients.
Dapitan Guide contains information on where to go and what to do in the city. It also contains a listing of places to stay during your visit.
