Dailyboard - a daily todo app

WHAT IS IT
dailyboard is a simple simple task manager. its aim is to help you focus on tasks to be completed today by hiding the complexity of anything but today.

TODAY ONLY
what is this “today only” approach all about? well, we do archive your board every night so you start your day with an empty one.

dailyboard will keep your list neat and clean. just tell us when your night really is so we do not spoil your day by cleaning it up at lunchtime.

NO PASSWORDS
what you may find surprising dailyboard does not have login/password authorization. it relies on the fact that each task board has a quite complex address that is tough to memorize:

BUT IS THIS SECURE
as mentioned earlier, dailyboard is a public system and if you know a board secret id you can access it.
such approach to access control gives you an simple way to share. just share the URL and your friends/family will have access.

while this is most probably way more complex (hence secure) than your normal user/password pair please have it in mind while you use dailyboard. all the data you enter can be accessed by others.

we believe that security achieved this way is more than enough for a daily tasks list. if you disagree - please do not use dailyboard.

PRIVACY
regarding an email you are asked to enter during board creation, it is not a required field, but it helps if you ask for a reminder about a board link. we will not sell your mail address to third parties but it may be used by dailyboard team from time to time for some site related communication (e.g. outage update, satisfaction survey, etc…).

upon board creation you will see there is a simple check if the email looks valid, but that is in place to ensure no typos, we do not check if the email is indeed right.

also - to understand user behavior and improve user experience google analytics is enabled on dailyboard site (not within the app).

ONE MORE THING
ah, we forgot to mention the daily history feature of dailyboard. think of it as a history of your daily achievements you can always look into. its a great reminder of what you have done recently, when you have done it, etc... and if there was something important you missed yesterday, why not add it today?

you will soon notice that having a history of your achievements and failures will get you try harder not to miss your tasks

same as the board itself board history is accessible to anyone who knows the secret ID.

f for some reason you will try to use dailyboard for publishing an information that is either illegal, violent, offensive or simply rude … we will be dissapointed, sad and get your board removed. if you see something that requires attention from content moderation perspective, do let us know please. board content is board owner responsibility.

we are currently in beta, please let us know of any failures noticed and do not expect a 100% production ready service yet.
