Águilas is a southwestern city near the Murcian coast and has an arid and mountainous landscape, extensive beaches with crystalline cliffs and small, little-frequented coves. Los Hierros is dominated by the tower named Torre De Cope, which has been attacked on numerous occasions by pirates. Close by are the beach at Calabardina and the natural park of Calnegre - Cabo Cope.

Lorca is a genteel city which has mountains to a height of 1500m to the North West and an 8km of coastline. The surrounding area is covered with vineyards, almond and olive trees. The attraction of Lorca lies in its history and archaeology.
