CompyWord

CompyWord is a sophisticated word building game with plenty of options to please all you word aficionados. There are 25 different designed levels and 6 computer opponents to test your skill. It includes both timed and untimed modes, as well as a nonstop, play til you drop mode! Change board selection, timing, letter count and difficulty right from the start screen.

CompyWord features wildcard letters, random bonus letters, bonus words to find, fast paced play, slow methodical play, artificial intelligence opponents ranging from novice to genius, static and dynamic board arrangements, weighted letter scoring, both normal and hard modes, high-contrast display and a 170,000+ entry dictionary (English). It includes a simple tutorial to get you acquainted quickly, but it's easy to play.

Like many word games, you make words by touching letters on a board. Each letter you touch disappears and is replaced by a new letter. The new letters wait in a line that can be seen next to the board. Form letters until the timer runs out or until the letters run out (untimed mode). Scoring is based upon letter choice and word length. The computer plays the same letters. Form a word with a bonus letter and get a 2x or 3x score boost. Form a complete bonus word and get a 5x score boost. You can adjust the computer opponent to make it challenging for yourself. Can you beat "MegaCompy"? I wonder ...
