ClayMate is a productivity tool designed to help potters keep track of the various works that they have in-flight. Never forget what glazes you used ever again!
Some features include:
- Viewing work by status, and dragging-and-dropping pieces between the statuses
- Viewing the most recently updated pieces that have been worked on
- Adding notes (by status or in-general), adding glazes, and adding tags
- Searching for works by: status, clay body, tags, notes, title, and glazes
- Adding images from other apps to an idea board
- Viewing the timeline of status changes per-piece
- Adding multiple pictures for a piece with the ability to rearrange order
- A leveler tool to aid with things like trimming on a chuck
If there's a feature you're waiting on, try being creative with tags until it's implemented! For example, if you want to keep track of all abandoned pieces: add a tag for abandoned! The tag will be pre-populated in the search view once it is created.
And if you've made it this far:
This is a hobby project by a lone developer! I am not now nor planning in the future to monetize this app. I needed the app for my own work, made it, and thought I'd share!
Some pros of that:
- Free, with NO ads!
- A responsive hobbyist!
Some cons:
- I personally am an amateur wheel-thrower in a community studio space, so most features will be oriented towards amateur wheel-throwing within a community space. If you want a different feature, feel free to drop me a line! ...But the more relevant the feature is to those parameters, the more likely I'll sneak it into the app.
- Since the app won't be monetized, I won't be able to pay for servers. This means that cloud backup won't be available (switching phones or uninstalling will lose your data). I'll implement a manual export/import in the future.
