O Certillion ID é um certificado digital em nuvem gerado e armazenado em Módulo de Segurança Criptográfico, atendendo requisitos de certificados ICP-Brasil, do tipo A3, com validade de cinco anos,
renováveis por mais cinco anos.
Ele pode ser usado para fazer assinaturas digitais de arquivos e mensagens, com valor legal imediatamente após a validação, direto de dispositivos móveis. E também é usado para fazer autenticação segura em aplicações diversas. Tudo isso sem que o titular tenha que instalar drivers ou carregar dispositivos adicionais (tokens, smartcards e suas leitoras) e não requer conexão à Internet para funcionar. Além disso, permite a redução considerável da burocracia e do tempo gasto para assinar e reconhecer firma de qualquer documento, com a mesma validade jurídica de uma assinatura reconhecida pelos cartórios.
