The BlueBox app allows for the transfer of electrofusion and buttfusion joint data and works in conjunction with the BlueBox itself; a device that is fitted to a fusion control box. Using Bluetooth connectivity, the BlueBox will be paired with the device through the use of the BlueBox app. Operators are guided through the user-friendly process on both the control box display screen and the app.
To provide an accurate picture of the joint installation quality that is being produced, the BlueBox system is closely integrated with the control box, meaning that each weld cycle has to be instigated by the capture of at least one photo.
