Province No. 2-Chief Minister and Minister Council-Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Campaign
Office of Chief Minister and Minister Council (OCMMC), Province No. 2 has launched this program / campaign from 21st February 2019.
Prabhu Bank is the official Bank for this program.
Under this program, The Bank assures a sum of money Rs. 100,000 after 20 years to the account holder / beneficiary along with deposited Rs. 1,000/- in each account as a contribution from the Bank's part initially where the upfront Rs. 13,646.15 shall be deposited by the Provincial Government of Province No. 2.
Documents Required:
1. Duly filled up account opening form (fill and submit from the app),
2. Original copy of recommendation letter from respective Provincial Ministry for account opening (will be uploaded by Provincial Government of Province No. 2.),
3. Copy of Birth Registration of beneficiary (upload and submit from the app) , and
4. Self-Attested copy of Citizenship of the parent /guardian (upload and submit from the app).
Terms & Conditions:
1. Only girls born after Magh -1, 2075 and recommended by the respective Provincial Ministry of Province No. 2 will be eligible for this scheme,
2. Account will not allowed to operate until the maturity period i.e. of 20 years,
3. The amount after maturity will be released only to the nominee account of respective baby girl upon the recommendation of Office of Chief Minister & Minister Council,
4. If the beneficiary / FD holder discontinue her education or get married before 20 years of age or her disappearance established, the sum of money shall be provided to OCMMC after 20 years’ completion and the beneficiary will not be eligible to get the sum of fixed deposit,
5. If the respective authority of the Provincial Govt. establishes that the documents submitted for this account / facility are fake and recommends to transfer the accumulated amount into the respective Fund of OCMMC, the beneficiary will not be eligible to get the sum of fixed deposit.
How this works (steps):
1. Insert your mobile number to verify your identity.
2. Insert your (i.e. guardian / parent) information such as relationship to beneficiary, full name, date of birth, address and citizenship details.
3. Insert the information of beneficiary such as siblings’ details, date of birth and birth registration details.
4. Submit the application and get your unique id. If your application is invalid, you will be notified via SMS that you application is declined. If your application is valid you will be notified via SMS that your application is verified. However, you can also check the status of your application through the app.
