You all have heard it before: your baby is so smart, so advanced. But did you ever wonder if you can measure it?
Now you finally can!
It has been a challenge since babies are not yet in control of their motor skills, and thus could not select the right answer from a multiple choice IQ test.
But with advanced technology we have been able to monitor babies faces and measure minute changes and reaction times when they are stimulated visually. You will notice that the visual stimulation is in black and white since babies are most sensitive to high contrasts.
With complex algorithms we are able to achieve accurate results also in part due to the inherent nature of babies: they are emotionally pure and thus their facial reactions can be quantified.
