Quick Tips:

• Fwding to another country? You'll need + and the country code.
• Fwding WITHIN your country? Should NOT need + . And you may not need country code. Test with both (if you're unsure, we can help you test)

FAQ:

Q: Can I spy or get SMS from another phone?
A: No.

Q: Does my phone need to be connected to wifi?
A: No. The app uses your phone's default SMS app. But your phone needs to be ON and able to receive/send SMS.

Q: I get SMS from a WORD or NAME, not a number. How do I forward?
A: Create Task and input the Word into the From Number field (example MyBank or UBER).

Do not use keywords unless you need to filter further. If you only need to fwd SMS from certain numbers to certain people (in Create Tasks), don't have FWD ALL INCOMING SMS switched on.

Q: Will it work on a dual SIM phone?
A: We tested with SIM cards in both slots and the results were poor but worked if just 1 SIM.

Q: What Android phone do I install the app on?
A: Install Auto Forward SMS on the phone you need to forward SMS FROM.

Q: I need to auto-forward only those SMS with KEYWORDS in the message.
A: Easy. Add to the KEYWORDS field.

Keyword example 1 (strict):
KEYWORDS: chocolate cake
Will fwd if BOTH words chocolate cake are received IN THAT ORDER.

Keyword example 2:
KEYWORDS: chocolate, cake
This will fwd if any of those words are received together or singly in ANY order.

NOTE: keywords apply to the BODY of incoming SMS, not the SenderID

Q: How will I know who fwded SMS are from?
A: Fwded SMS will have the original sender's details appended to the end of the fwded message.

DO NOT REPLY FROM PHONE 2 BACK TO PHONE 1 AS YOU WILL CAUSE A LOOP.

Q: Can I reply to the ORIGINAL sender from a fwded SMS? CAUTION!
A: To reply to the ORIGINAL SENDER from Phone 2, tap the underlined phone number at the end of the fwded SMS (on Phone 2). Your phone should open an option screen.

Remember that you will be replying to the ORIGINAL sender from Phone 2's number (not Phone 1). If you do not want the ORIGINAL sender to know your Phone 2 number, don't reply from Phone 2.

Q: Do I need to uninstall the app when I need to pause?
A: No. Simply toggle OFF/ON.

Q: Where can I view received & sent/forwarded SMS?
A: Where you normally would in your phone's default messaging app.
