Art On The Street From Budapest

In the center of Madrid at the Plaza de Colón you can see 26 masterpieces of the two most important fine art collections from the Hungarian Museum of Fine Arts and the Hungarian National Gallery between 17th July and 10th August 2014.

The paintings are reproduced on 3x3 meter large giant billboards using Hewlett Packard's pixel-free, weather- and vandal resistant technology.

With the application "ART ON THE STREET" you can learn more about these masterworks and the two Budapest museums well known in Europe. In addition to the pictures of the exhibits you can also read general information and stories about them.

The application is available in English and Spanish. You can choose the default language when installing ART ON THE STREET to your mobile.

With ART ON THE STREET you can always see your location on the map. By installing the application you will be able to use our offline map of the city so you won't need Internet access during your exploration.

While on the map, the program will automatically track your route. At any point you can capture a "Moment" - just take a picture, record a voicememo or take a note of something which catches your eye. When you have finished your sightseeing you can save and upload this Track to our website. This way you can share your experiences with your friends and give them a personalized virtual tour of the city!

ATTENTION: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. GPS will only keep on running if putting the application to the background from the map view.

Have fun and enjoy discovering!
