This application can be used to turn your android device into real Metal Detector. By measuring the variation in magnetic field values measured by the device’s magnetic sensor, the application can be used to detect the presence of Metal and Magnets near your device. The default value of Earth’s magnetic field is around 25 μT-65 μT which varies over the surface of the earth. This is the default reading of the metal detector.
Depending upon your phone, this application can be used to detect different metals and magnets over a sufficient distance. This application can also be used to detect the presence of metals such as wires etc. behind the wall or other metallic objects below the ground surface.
If the metal object is detected, there is variation in measured values and the device will Vibrate and Beep (Or just Vibrate or Beep) depending on the settings chosen by you. The readings will be reported in both analog and digital scale.

====== How to use? ======
The usage is very simple. Just start the app and hover the device over the surface where you want to detect the metal objects. If there is presence of metal or magnet nearby you can observe the variation in readings shown in the app. If you move closer to the metal, the readings cross the threshold value triggering vibration and alarm (**Note: you can configure the threshold value and alarm settings).

You can set the threshold value in settings. If the readings cross this value the alarm will be triggered and device vibrates. To configure settings, just click on settings icon > Alert Level/Sound/Vibration settings.

Due to repeated exposure to metals and magnets near your device, it is likely that your device sensor may report readings with low accuracy. This can be overcome by calibration. To calibrate your device’s sensors, point your phone upwards and move in the direction of figure “8” or follow the steps provided in your apps calibration menu.
*It is highly recommended that you calibrate your device every time you start your app to avoid erroneous readings.

*Why does my app report wrong and erroneous reading?
The magnetic field sensor is affected by electronic devices and devices which emit electromagnetic waves such ad T.V and P.C. So make sure you are away from them.
Other reason is low accuracy of your device’s sensor. Please follow the calibration procedure to overcome this and get accurate readings.
*My app does not trigger alarm even when the sound is checked in settings menu?
This is probably because the volume of your device is low. Please increase the volume by using volume buttons.
*My apps readings do not vary even when metal is present near it?
This app detects metals by observing variation in magnetic field. So this app cannot be used to detect the metals with low magnetic properties.
