PENJELASAN MAULID NABI SAW
Komplotan Iblis Sangat Benci Maulid
Bismillahirrahmaanirrahiim
Saat Rasulullah SAW dilahirkan ke dunia, banyak hal luar biasa terjadi. Diantaranya, sejak saat itu, iblis tak bisa lagi update berita dari langit. Iblis tak mau menyerah. Berusaha naik ke langit secara illegal. Namun malang , begitu hampir mencapai pintu langit, batu api pun menghujaninya tanpa ampun. Tak mau menerima kenyataan itu, iblis berteriak marah. Hatinya membara penuh kesumat. Persis ketika diusir dari surga. Sungguh, dua peristiwa yang tak akan terlupakan sepanjang hidupnya.
Praktis, dua peristiwa ini iblis sangat benci apa bila ada yang mengungkitnya (mengenang) kembali.
Sebisa mungkin mereka berusaha dua peristiwa itu dikubur sedalam- dalamnya.
Peristiwa pertama, yakni terusirnya iblis dari surga, mungkin hanya menyakitkan bagi iblis saja, namun tidak begitu menyakitkan bagi kroni-kroninya. Jelas, karena peristiwa itu berlangsung antara Allah, para malaikat, iblis, Nabi Adam. Anak cucu iblis dan anak cucu Nabi Adam mengetahui dari sejarah. Otomatis antara anak cucu iblis dan anak cucu Nabi Adam tidak berbantahan dalam hal ini.
Peristiwa kedua, kelahiran Nabi Muhammad sangat menyakitkan iblis juga anak cucunya. Oleh karena itu, anak cucu iblis akan sangat marah bila kelahiran Nabi (maulid) dikenang lagi.
Semakin banyak yang membaca, semakin banyak yang marah.
Ada beberapa orang mengatakan bahwa maulid Nabi adalah bid’ah karena Nabi tidak pernah melakukan atau menyuruh. Asumsi mereka, kalau itu perbuatan baik, pasti dicontohkan oleh Nabi. Mafhum mukholafahnya, kalau tidak ada contoh dari Nabi, pasti perbuatan jelek.
Rumus yang mereka gunakan adalah :
» Ada contoh dari Nabi = perbuatan baik
» Tidak ada contoh dari Nabi = perbuatan jahat
Ini jelas pemahaman yang keliru, karena membatasi perbuatan baik.
Sedangkan Islam tidak membatasinya. Alangkah lebih baik kalau kita gunakan rumus :
» Ada contoh dari Nabi = perbuatan baik
» Tidak ada contoh dari Nabi = selama tidak ada dalil yang jelas melarang, boleh dilakukan. Tinggal mempertimbangkan sisi manfaat dan madhorotnya. Apalagi banyak dalil yang mendukungnya, sekalipun bukan dalil langsung yang menganjurkanya.
Adapun dalil pendukung maulid sangat banyak.
Pertama, dalil-dalil tentang sholawat dan keutamaannya
Kedua, dalil-dalil tentang memuji Nabi saw
Ketiga, dalil-dalil tentang majelis-majelis dzikir
Keempat, dalil-dalil tentang memberikan makanan
Kelima, dalil-dalil tentang perkumpulan dengan para shalihin
Kalau kita sederhanakan perbandingan antara yang membolehkan dan melarang maulid :
1. Yang membolehkan :
-Dalil perintah langsung dari nash : tidak ada
-Dalil pendukung : banyak
2. Yang melarang:
-Dalil larangan langsung dari nash :tidak ada
-Dalil pendukung : tidak ada
Kesimpulannya, antara yang membolehkan dan yang melarang, dalil jauh lebih kuat yang membolehkan.
Maulid dimasukkan dalam kategori bid’ah dholalah sejak masa syekh Muhammad bin abdul wahab. Itu pun tidak semua ulama. Hanya sebagian kecil. Ulama sebelumnya, bahkan ibnu taymiyah sepakat bahwa maulid itu perbuatan baik dan dianjurkan.
Beberapa di antaranya malah menulis maulid. Apakah mereka tidak faham bid’ah dolalah?
Ada yang mengatakan, para sahabat adalah orang yang paling mencintai Nabi. Mengapa mereka tidak menggelar acara maulid?
Maulid adalah acara yang diadakan saat berkecamuknya perang, dimana saat itu kecintaan pada Nabi mulai luntur. Maulid Nabi diadakan untuk menggugah kecintaan umat Islam pada Nabinya sekaligus menumbuhkan kembali semangat dalam membela Islam. The formula they use is:

This is obviously wrong understanding, because it limits the good deeds.
While Islam does not restrict it. It would be better if we use the formula:
»There is an example of the Prophet = good deeds
