Album BON JOVI

Bon Jovi dibentuk pada tahun 1983 di Kota Sayreville, New Jersey, USA. Pada saat berdirinya, Bon Jovi digawangi oleh Jon Bon Jovi aka John Francis Bongiovi Jr sebagai vokalis, Richie Sambora pemetik gitar, David Bryan yang memegang kibor, Tico Torres si penggebuk drum dan Alec John Such pembetot bass. Band ini lumayan awet, karena 4 dari 5 personilnya masih tetap sampai sekarang terkecuali Alec John Such yang keluar pada tahun 1994.

Album pertama mereka dirilis pada 21 Januari 1984 dengan judul album “Bon Jovi”. Pada Maret 2013 ini rencananya mereka akan mengeluarkan album terbaru mereka dengan tajuk “What About Now”. Total Bon Jovi sudah menghasilkan 11 album (belum termasuk “What About Now”), 3 album kompilasi, dan 2 album live consert.

Dalam rentang waktu 1986-1995, Bon Jovi berhasil menghasilkan 13 buah lagu yang masuk dalam chart Top 40 di USA. Dari 13 lagu tersebut, tercatat ada 4 lagu yang sempat bertengger di posisi pertama dalam chart Billboard Hot 100. Lagu-lagu tersebut adalah “You Give Love A Bad Name”, “Living on A Prayer”, “Bad Medicine” dan “I’ll be There For You”.

Secara global, Bon Jovi berhasil menjual sekitar 130 juta keping rekaman, tampil di lebih dari 2.700 konser di lebih dari 50 negara yang dihadiri oleh lebih dari 35 juta penonton.
