Al Ma'thurat is a compilation of Adhkar (sing. Dhikr) and Ad’iyah (sing. Dua’) derived from the Al Qur’an and the authentic Al Hadith. It was compiled by Imam Shaheed Al-Banna (1906 - 1949), the founder of the muslim brotherhood and is presented in the form of a wird (litany) to be recited every morning and evening.
