A Associação Evangélica Beneficente é uma entidade social fundada em 1928 pelo Reverendo Otoniel Mota, com o propósito de cuidar do próximo. No seu início, a AEB acolhia os doentes de tuberculose que
eram estigmatizados e marginalizados pela sociedade, na Vila Samaritana, em São José dos Campos - SP, oferecendo cuidado e tratamento de qualidade.
Desde então, a vocação social e assistencial da AEB resulta em um trabalho que atende aos grupos mais vulneráveis, qualificando e diversificando seus serviços, na medida em que se depara com as complexas demandas sociais nos municípios de São Paulo e Sorocaba.
Atualmente, a AEB possui projetos nas áreas de educação, saúde e assistência social, propiciando o acolhimento a um público igualmente diverso quanto à faixa etária, gênero e necessidades.
O atendimento à saúde é realizado através do Hospital Evangélico de Sorocaba que, a partir de 2012, iniciou um amplo processo de mudanças e reestruturações, visando adequá-lo a um novo conceito de gestão em saúde e referência na cidade de Sorocaba - SP e região.
As atividades realizadas pela AEB são frutos de um trabalho em rede, no qual cada ente social tem seu papel: contribuintes comprometidos, funcionários responsáveis, atendidos empoderados, poder público e iniciativa privada.
Para a AEB, fé e confiança no Senhor e em nossos companheiros de jornada são ingredientes fundamentais para o sucesso do trabalho e para construir melhores pavimentos no caminho comum.

Since then, social and welfare vocation of AEB results in a job that meets the most vulnerable groups, qualifying and diversifying their services, as they are faced with the complex social demands in the cities of São Paulo and Sorocaba.

The activities of the AEB are fruits of networking in which each social entity has its role: committed taxpayers, responsible officials, attended empowered, government and private enterprise.
