It can be used to measure task completion time for an app, which is important for prototype performance benchmark. When Activity Monitor is started, tap the button on the top-right to turn the Activity Monitor on, which indicates activity monitoring is in process. After you have finished your task, you can go back to Activity Monitor app and tap the button on the top-right to turn off the Activity Monitor
