The Mobile Application
This application acts as a common platform for the people who are investing their time, efforts, and resources for serving their community with food and resources to help achieve holistic wellness for all. It is based on geolocation and real-time tracking.
The application is compatible with all smartphones. You need to register using your mobile number and your official email address. Once registered you will have to submit the documents for authentication. You can authenticate yourself online and then proceed with your membership. No financial transactions are required.
After registration, you can log in with your id and password that you create or via OTP. Select the area of your service you want to provide. You can be a reporter, a volunteer, or an advisory. Anyone of the above mentioned registered members can act as a volunteer with their choice in general or in the time of emergency.
The roles of Food Crisis responders
Reporters are responsible for reporting about the requirement of the food, training, or any other type of support. They need to report the requirement of the food in their locality by logging in to the app. If they want they can deliver the food on their own.
If only the food requirement is being reported volunteers will act as mediators between the needy and the donor. Volunteers will have to report back for the status of the case they took up. They are expected to act as out on ground quality controllers.
The roles of Awareness Campaigners
One can choose to be an awareness campaigner by sharing the idea, information on different platforms. They can also become a trainer wherein they can speak about holistic wellness. We also aim at making people aware of several primary health care resources available at grassroots levels.
The roles of the advisories:
Advisories are senior industry mentors who will be responsible for the delegation of research work, policy reading, policy analyzing, policymaking, and policy implementation for maintaining the quality of the work. They will be taking care of training systems, designing course structure, contents, and planning of other teaching and learning materials. They shall act as a bridge between admins and on-ground executives.

Aahar Rath is an initiative of ‘United Countryouths Federation’ a social enterprise registered as a Section 8 company under MCA, GOI. And our organizational website www.countryouths.org has a detailed data management system embedded in it.
