850 OBD-II

This app is mainly for Volvos of years 1996-99 with ELM327 bluetooth/Wifi/USB dongle to diagnose and even program little bit. Exceeding usual standard OBDII capabilities (ex. Pxxx codes not being there in case of fault) to read individual modules directly to help diagnose problems.

Requirement!:
ELM327(V1.4b or greater).
Most problems comes when ELM is not having correctly behaving firmware! Example missing some commands. If you have ELM327 like device with just black glue chip on board (C.O.B.).. It works only with standard OBDII stuff and not with this app most functions. App has pop up to notify user if this detected.


Support:
850/900 series
On these models Electronic Control Units as Yazaki dash, M4.3, MFI system (LH-jetronic 3.2 & EZ129K), Fenix 5.2, ECC(A/C) and Cruise Control are not reachable by ELM327!


S40/V40
These has still lot of work to be correct.

C70/S70/V70/XC70, S90/V90 series


Year models from 1999-2000
V70 models are working partially under CAN Bus like Dashboard (CDM/CEM), Engine (ECM) or ABS.. BUT! VGLA, Immobiliser, SRS, AW 50-42.. are connected due them being on older systems still as fully or in parallel.
*UPDATE* Since V1.5.5 App version Dashboard (CDM/CEM) is supported with Scan of information, fault code reading and clear, Service Light (SRI) reset and GAUGETEST. Rest of modules from these years is coming on later updates or by request.

There will be some errors/bugs as i can test things mostly on my own Volvo and or bench. So when you send that log to me via email (via settings) i look what i can do!

*To access the hardware identifiers of nearby external devices via Bluetooth -- scans, your app must now have the ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION or ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION permissions

*To have Wifi support needed to have next permissions; CHANGE_WIFI_STATE and android.permission.INTERNET.
