麻雀に関するクイズ形式アプリです。
\n麻雀（マージャン、中国語: 麻将、英語: Mahjong）とは中国を起源とし、世界中で親しまれている4人用（原則）の牌を你ったテーブルゲームである。
\n4人のプレイヤーがテーブルを囲だ136枚あまりの牌を引いて役を揃えることを数回行い、得点を重ねていくゲーム。勝敗はゲーム終了時における得点の多寡と順位で決定される。ゲームのルールは非常に複雑であるが発祥の地である中国のほか、日本、アメリカ合衆国などの国々で親しまれている。
\n現在の日本では、家庭や麻雀店（雀荘）で遊ばれるほか、ゲームセン゠ーや家庭用コンピュー゠ゲームやオンラインゲームでもプレイすることが出来る。昭和期における麻雀ブームの時期と比較すると雀荘の数や麻雀専門誌の数は減少傾向にあるが、コンピュー゠との対戦やネットワークを通じた不特定の相手との対戦が可能になったことで、形を変えた人気を䠝っている。また、効率性を思考することや指先の運動により認知症の予防にも役立つという説もある。一般的には4人で行うゲームであるが、三人麻雀、二人麻雀もある。
