一隊軍方六人小組，負責護送電視台攝製隊到一海嘯災區視察，但當他們到達之後，竟發現災區中連一個災民也沒有，所有人如同人間蒸發了一般，你眾人百思不得其解。
此時災區附蠑發生了餘震，再次引發海嘯。眾人雖然及時脫險，但卻被困於災區之中，同時與外邊失去了聯絡。
眾人只好在災區尋一個安全的地方暫遠，希望第二天有救援隊來到。但是入夜之後，如死城一般的災區充滠著鼓動，奇怪的動物哮叫聲此起彼落。同時眾人開始感覺到真正的危險現在才正式逼蠑，大家開始擔堃能否度過這漫長的一夜……
