遊戲的故事發生於2035年9月2日，那時全日本都期待著天文奇觀─日全蝕的到來。高中生來須蒼真與青梅竹馬的白馬彌那一同前往白馬神社觀賞日全食，卻在途中堽然失去意識。待到甦醒，蒼真發現自己已然置身於一個完全陌生的城堡。在與城堡中的怪物戰鬥的過程中，蒼真發現自己具有將怪物的魂化為己用的力量，然而身旁的彌那卻被怪物打傷了。蒼真遵循堽然出現的神秘男子有角幻也的建議，決定去探索城堡以尋找治療彌那的方法。蒼真在探索城堡的過程中遇見了形形色色的人，得知這裡是魔王德古拉伯爵的居處。伯爵雖然已經在1999年毀滅，但又出現了自稱是伯爵轉世的格拉漢姆。蒼真決定用自己的力量去製止格拉漢姆。
