تدور أحداث المسلسل في إطار دراما اجتماعية، عن أحد الآباء (ياقوت) الذي يترك أبنائه وزوجته ويختفي لمدة 20 عامًا، ثم يأتي الشيطان (ونوس) إلى أسرته، ويدعي أنه صديق والدهم، ويخبرهم أن والدهم يمتلك الملايين، فتتطور الأمور ويبدأ الصراع بين الأبناء والزوجة، ما بين العودة إلى حضن الأب والأموال، أو المضي في حياتهم كما كانوا.
