فروغ فرخزاد

فروغ‌زمان فرخزادِ عراقی، (۸ دی ۱۳۱۳، تهران - ۲۴ بهمن ۱۳۴۵، تهران)، معروف به فروغ فرخزاد و فروغ، از شاعر نامدار معاصر ایران است. وی پنج دفتر شعر منتشر کرد که از نمونه‌های قابل توجه شعر معاصر فارسی هستند. فروغ فرخزاد در ۳۲سالگی بر اثر واژگونی اتومبیل درگذشت.

فروغ با مجموعه‌های اسیر، دیوار و عصیان در قالب شعر نیمایی کار خود را آغاز کرد. سپس آشنایی با ابراهیم گلستان، نویسنده و فیلم‌ساز سرشناس ایرانی، و همکاری با او، موجب تحول فکری و ادبی در فروغ شد. وی در بازگشت دوباره به شعر، با انتشار مجموعهٔ تولدی دیگر، تحسین گسترده‌ای را برانگیخت. سپس مجموعهٔ ایمان بیاوریم به آغاز فصل سرد را منتشر کرد تا جایگاه خود را در شعر معاصر ایران به‌عنوان شاعری بزرگ تثبیت کند. آثار و اشعار فروغ به زبان‌های انگلیسی، ترکی، عربی، چینی، فرانسوی، اسپانیایی، ژاپنی، آلمانی و عبری ترجمه شده‌اند
