باقة من أقوى و أجمل روائع قيثارة السماء السيدة فيروز
هي نهاد وديع حداد، مطربة لبنانية تعد من أشهر الفنانين العرب على قيد الحياة. شكلت مع زوجها الراحل عاصي الرحباني وأخوه منصور الرحباني المعروفين بالأخوين رحباني ثورة في عالم الموسيقى والغناء العربي.
كانت انطلاقتها عام 1952 م عندما بدأت الغناء لعاصي الرحباني، وكانت الأغاني التي غنّتها لعاصي في ذلك الوقت تملأ كافة القنوات الإذاعية، وأصبحت مطربة كبيرة في العالم العربي منذ ذلك الوقت. كانت أغلب أغانيها آنذك للأخوين عاصي ومنصور الرحباني الذين يشار لهما دائما بالأخوين رحباني. وفي 1955م تزوجت فيروز من عاصي الرحباني، وأنجبت منه زياد عام 1956 ثم هالي وهو مقعد وانجبته عام 1958 ثم ليال عام 1960 واخيرا ريما عام 1965.

ولدت فيروز فى بيت فقير من بيوت زقاق البلاط فى بيروت، وبعد عامين من مولدها انتقلت عائلتها الى شارع البسطا فى بيروت، عثر الأب على عمل فى احدى المطابع هناك وفى سن مبكرة من حياتها بدأت تدندن كأية طفلة، فكانت تتغنى بأغانى ليلى مراد وأسمهان التى كانت تستمع إليهما من راديو الجيران.كانت نهاد أو فيروز أولى الأبناء الأربعة نهاد وهدى وآمال وجوزيف.
كانت العائلة الفقيرة بعد انتقالها الى زقاق البلاط فى أحد الأحياء الشعبية تسكن فى منزل مؤلف من مجموعة غرف مع عدة عائلات فقيرة تتقاسم هذه الغرف وتتشارك المطبخ وأشياء أخرى. فلما هبط والدها لهذه المنطقة وجد عملا فى مطبعة هناك، وألحق نهاد بمدرسة سان جوزيف للبنات وهى مدرسة خاصة.
أهم الجوائز التي حصلت عليها:

- رتبة فارس من لبنان، ثم وسام الاستحقاق اللبناني،


4. ميدالية الكرامة في عام 1963م
والتي قدمها لها الملك حسين


5. وسام الاستحقاق السوري في 1967م


6. في عام 1975م تم إصدار طوابع
بريدية تذكارية عليها صورتها كنوع من التكريم لها


7. حصلت على وسام النهضة الأردني من
الدرجة الأولى


8. وسام الكوموندور الفرنسي 1988م


9. جائزة القدس من فلسطين عام 1997م


10. وسام الثقافة الرفيعة من تونس


11. في عام 1997 حصلت فيروز على
ميدالية الفنون للمرة الثانية من فرنسا


12. في عام 1998م حصلت على ميدالية
الإسهام الاستثنائي من الدرجة الأولى من الملك حسين.


13. كما حصلت فيروز على الدكتوراه
الفخرية من الجامعة الأمريكية ببيروت لتصبح أول مطربة تحصل على هذا اللقب.

Nihad is Wadih Haddad, a Lebanese singer is one of the most famous Arab artists alive. Formed with the late husband Assi Rahbani and his brother Mansour Rahbani known Balokhuyn Rahbani revolution in the Arab music and singing.
