وأفاد بلاغ لمجلس النواب، أن عبد الله بن ناصر بن خليفة أخبر المسؤولين المغاربة الحاضرين أن قطر رفعت عن المغاربة تأشيرة الدخول، لينضاف اسم المغرب إلى قائمة جديدة من 80 بلدا صار بمقدور مواطنيها ولوج قطر دون تأشيرة الدخول.

وختم بالحديث " قرار إدراج المغاربة على قائمة الجنسيات التي يحق لحامليها الوصول للأراضي القطرية دون تأشيرة يعني أن المغاربة الراغبون في زيارة قطر سيكون بإمكانهم الإقامة لمدة 30 يوما فقط وقد يتم تمتيع المغاربة بالإقامة في قطر لمدة 180 يوما كما هو الشأن بالنسبة لمواطني بعض البلدان"
