ابن تيمية

ولد في 10 ربيع الأول 661 هـ / 1263م أحد علماء المذهب الحنبلي وله مساهماته في كل من الفقه و الحديث والعقيدة وأصول الفقه والفلسفة والمنطق والفلك، كما أنّه كان بارعًا في شرح الحساب والجبر

ولد في حران في الجزيرة الفراتية بين الخابور والفرات، وحران داخل الحدود التركية على مقربة من الحدود السورية داخل ما يعرف بالأقاليم السورية الشمالية.

حين استولى المغول على بلاد حران وجاروا على أهلها، انتقل مع والده وأهله إلى دمشق سنة 667 هـ فنشأ فيها وتلقى على أبيه وعلماء عصره العلوم المعروفة في تلك الأيام حيث قرأ الحديث والتفسير واللغة وكانت له مساهماته في تفسير القرآن.
